Temporary Crosswalk Control
JTI’s line of portable traffic signals are available with integrated temporary pedestrian signals. This feature adds safety when used in work zones with pedestrian crosswalks or to manage temporary crosswalks. The pedestrian signals can be mounted to the PTS-2000 trailer and/or can include stand-alone stanchion pedestal signal units.

HOW IT WORKS
The pedestrian signals can be operated as a dedicated pedestrian phase to help control pedestrian traffic. The signal indications consist of illuminated symbols of a walking person to indicate walk, and a hand indicating don’t walk. A countdown timer displays the time remaining for the pedestrian to cross the intersection. Push button actuation is also available.
